Jan Parry

Holywells Ward - Jan Parry

Jan is the Labour Party candidate for Holywells Ward at the Borough Council election on 3rd May 2018.

I grew up in Ipswich and met my husband when we were both at school here. We live close by in Alexandra and in my work as a solicitor in Ipswich I represented people in and around the town who had been injured at work. I have also previously served as a school governor and parish councillor.

Like many of us I have been very involved in the care of my parents and parents in law over a number of years while bringing up my children and working full time. I know the immense importance of good publicly funded services for children, teenagers, young adults and older people and I believe passionately that a strong and caring community is essential for our well being. This is what Labour is all about and if elected I will use all of my skills, commitment, rigorous attention to detail and experience to serve and listen to you, represent your views and support and stand up for everybody in Holywells, with particular attention to the air quality, planning, development and traffic issues affecting our area.

It will be a privilege to join you in championing and developing the wonderful facilities and opportunities we have in Holywells and making sure that we maintain and improve our environment and our quality of life.  Vote Jan Parry for Holywells on May 3rd.
