Priory Heath Ward - Luke Richardson

Luke Richardson is the Labour Party candidate for Priory Heath at the Borough Council election on Thursday 2nd May 2019.

Luke was born and raised in Ipswich - one of seven children. He grew up on the Rushmere Estate and went to Northgate High school.

He has always had a passion for helping others and at the age of 21 he started working with the charity NACRO helping young people who traditionally struggled with education. In 2012 Luke then took charge of the Norfolk and Suffolk senior attendance centres helping mainly first time young offenders turn their life around.

Luke currently lives in social housing in East Ipswich and he now works in the Buttermarket Shopping Centre.

"I care about Ipswich and that's why I'm standing as a Labour candidate for Ipswich Borough Council. I have witnessed & experienced the cruel & unnecessary austerity that the conservative government continues to impose. I understand the importance of local services and I want to ensure they remain safe for all of us now and in the future."
