St John's Ward - Shelly Darwin

Shelly Darwin is is the Labour Party candidate for St John's at the Borough Council election on Thursday 2nd May 2019.

Being a St John’s Councillor is a huge honour and I look forward to continuing to work hard on your behalf if re-elected.

I am driven by my values and a strong determination to make things better. To bring improvements to residents lives and to Ipswich and to act as a link between communities and the council.

I stand for real social change; lessening the disadvantages of inequality and poverty in our society.

Representation matters; I am a champion for equal opportunities and equality and continue to challenge and raise awareness in all that I do. As a single parent, a qualified teacher and having worked in youth justice; I fight for a better future for all children and young people.

I know that people are best shielded from this Tory government by a Labour council. Register and use your vote, vote for hope, vote Labour.
