Sandy Martin at Ipswich Hospital
Sandy Martin at Ipswich Hospital

It’s a Happy Birthday for Sandy Martin today, as he is announced as Labour’s candidate for Ipswich in the forthcoming General Election.

Sandy needs no introduction to most people in Ipswich, as he has served as a councillor in our town for 20 years exactly, having been first declared elected on Friday 2nd May 1997, following the election held on 1st May 1997.

Throughout that time, Sandy has represented St John’s division on Suffolk County Council, and is one of the best known councillors in our town. Sandy also served from 2002 to 2014 as borough councillor for St John’s ward.

We now all need to work with Sandy to secure a Labour victory on Thursday 8th June.

Ipswich people need a Labour government.

For homes; for jobs; for health; for education, elect Sandy Martin on 8th June.
