Ipswich Labour Party was delighted to welcome Labour leader, Keir Starmer to Ipswich this week. In a two day visit, Keir met and listened to many Ipswich residents on visits to local organisations including Buzz Bingo, Combat2Coffee, Ipswich Library, Active Lives, Ipswich Mail Centre, businesses in St Nicholas and St Peter’s streets and Fred Olsen Travel.
Speaking at the end of his visit, Keir said:
“Working people up and down the country are being failed by the current Government.
It was great meeting with local people in Ipswich to deliver Labour’s plan: guaranteed good jobs for young people, a workforce paid a National Living Wage and flexible working for all.”
