Cathy has lived and worked in Ipswich for over 30 years.
For the past 15 years, she has been the owner of an independent small business called Loveone – situated in the Saints area of the town on St Peter’s Street.

She is passionate about the high street and the town centre and has been involved with many initiatives to encourage more engagement with small businesses.
As one of the directors of The Saints Ipswich Community Ipswich Company, she is very rooted in the community and this group delivers the immensely popular Saints Street Market.

Cathy is a trustee of New Wolsey Theatre and is keen to see Ipswich as a cultural centre for the region – offering a wide range of experiences to all parts of the town and its communities.
Between 2017 -2020 Cathy worked part-time as the Ipswich Vision Coordinator, a role which gave her valuable experience of the importance of collaboration on projects to realise the potential of Ipswich.

Her experience of community and working in the town centre will very much help to inform her role as councillor for Holywells
