My name is Patricia Bruce-Browne and I was born and raised in London by Caribbean parents from Barbados & Antigua.
I moved to Ipswich in 2014 with my partner who is local. We live with our niece and 2 cats. Most of my working life was with people of various challenging needs. I have always been a huge advocate for equality and inclusion, and while in London I set up a club for LGBT people of colour.
I have set up and run Ipswich Reggae Choir, and have also been involved in various community projects. You may have heard me on the radio, as I am a DJ on ICR – Ipswich Community Radio. I would like to bring my enthusiasm for community to Whitton and help keep the great community I know it to have… We Can Do It Together.
