I enjoy being an active councillor and learning as much as possible about the service we provide. My interests within the Council are Housing and Community Safety.
I have chaired an Area Committee and currently I am Vice Chair on two, and a strong advocate for mental health as someone who has had to deal with this all my life. I am also a suicide first aider. I currently work for Ipswich Citizen’s Advice as a Caseworker for patients with Long Covid, managing claims for benefits and helping with employment rights.
I am a fully qualified Citizen’s advisor so have knowledge of all areas related to supporting people to make their own decisions on improving their lives.
